Tempered Glass

The melodies your body sings
Enchant me like a Siren’s song
Captivated, tortured by you
Your kiss gives a pleasant sting
the pain is perfect, just right

We hide behind Reality
living a dream of our own
Late summer secrets
wicked whispers from your lips
carefully kept unknown

They can never know
the ones who disagree
that wish to tear us apart
Hide away in my heart of hearts
cherishing all of our memories
