I’m intoxicated by the scent of your
dirty, delicious Petrichor

You’re enchanting, I haven’t a chance
to escape this bewitching romance

Wicked storms rage in your eyes
caught in the thunder of our hearts
tears falling like hail stones
cutting your cheeks to the bone
and still I’m mesmerized

Captivated,  unable to look away
I sit at the window and waste my day

swaying to the rhythm of the breeze
gently blowing through the budding leaves

  1. First off I would like to say terrific blog!
I had a quick question that I’d like to ask if you do not mind.

I was curious to find out how you center yourself and
clear your mind prior to writing. I’ve had trouble
clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out. I do enjoy writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are generally wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any suggestions or hints?

    Kudos! http://Ralecinabazo.Mihanblog.com/post/69

    1. Thank you very much for reading and I’m very glad you enjoyed it.
Normally when I am writing, I make sure there are minimal distractions and plenty of quiet. If I’m having trouble getting started, I write everything that pops into my head. Usually ends up being one long, nonsensical run-on sentence. From there I will look for thoughts and phrases to expand upon and fit into a poem or short story. If all else fails, the muse is busy with one of my fellow authors and I wait patiently for her return.
